Forty Years of Folly

Folly Beach is one of the most loved beaches on the east coast and we are going to celebrate the establishment of the City of Folly Beach 1973 style! There will be a Ferris Wheel, Carousel, Carnival rides and games along with other cool activities and events such as a Classic Car show, Half Rubber tournament and shag dancing lessons. Folly Beach will close Center Street on Saturday, September 21st for the public to enjoy the great food, music and libations that Folly is so proud of. This is an event you will not want to miss out on!

Other new and exciting things coming to Folly is a Farmer’s Market every Wednesday night. Check it out at Folly Beach Farmer’s Market!

We are so very proud and excited to be apart of Folly Beach and can’t wait to share in your experience! Check back with us for further festival dates for Sea and Sand, Folly Gras, St. Paddy’s Day Pub Crawl and more!!

Aloha Y’all!

  1. Man I love Folly Beach. I have lived here since 99′ and when I get a chance I try to always get out and enjoy the beach or the restaurants. If you are lucky enough to call Charleston SC home then you know the fun that Folly Beach can bring. Although I haven’t been here for the 40 years I hope to enjoy it for another 30 or so..
