The hot tub is back and just in time for Fall!

The hot tub is here and will be up and running this weekend! :-)  It’s bigger and better thansidebar-amenities-1 the last and we’re excited to re-introduce it to our guests!  Evenings have begun cooling off a bit to that perfectly comfortable temperature and you can start to feel the autumn air ever so slowly move in.  The hot tub adds that extra element of relaxation we hope all our guests experience while they’re here.  If you’re thinking now isn’t the right time to come to the beach for a vacation because summer is over I beg to differ!! My absolute favorite months on Folly Beach are September and October.  The crowds have dispersed and the beaches open up to afford more solitude and peace.  The weather is still pleasant and warm during the day and the water’s still a comfortable temperature to swim in.  You can still find a plethora of live music and restaurants open without the waiting time and the crowds.  Make your reservations early so you’re sure to be here during some of the upcoming Fall events on Folly as well as in and around the Charleston area:

Friday, 9/20:  Shagging on the pier — don’t know how to shag? Not a problem.  The DJ plays a wide genre of music for a variety of tastes and dance moves.

Friday, 9/20 – Sunday, 9/22: Folly Turns 40!  We’re all looking especially forward to this new exciting celebration of Folly’s 40th birthday.  Expect carnival games and rides, a sort of throwback to the good ol’ days, live music along Center Street and a roaring good time!  We’ll be there too, serving our world famous Folly Punch.

9/25 – Sigur Ros performs at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center.

9/27 Southern Living’s Taste of Charleston.  This 3-day culinary celebration has been named one of the “Top 20 events in the southeast” by Southeastern Tourism Society.

10/8 Latin American Festival – Celebrate this fun and vivacious culture at Wannamaker Park in North Charleston.  Try out the salsa dancing and authentic cuisine!

And this is only a few of your options while visiting Charleston.  For more information go to Charleston’s Visitor Bureau or the Charleston City Paper’s Event Calendar.
