This month’s festival will make you want to rock the sweatpants all weekend, but the food and drinks will be oh-so worth it. Starting January 14th, the Taste of Folly will kick off with the cocktail competition at the Tides hotel in the Pavilion Ballroom from 7-10pm. Local bartenders and mixologists will make and present their best craft cocktails.
Starting at 10am, Saturday morning, Center Street will be closed forโSavory Saturday.โ Folly Beach Businesses will not only showcase their best dishes but there will also be local art vendors, live music, a hot dog eating contest, an oyster shucking contest, server olympics, cooking demonstrations, and more entertainment! There will also be a โVirtual Taste Passportโ that you can purchase to scan QR codes of the establishments you visit for a chance to win prizes.
